MENIFEE (April 18, 2016) — Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley’s Senior Window Washing/Porch Cleanup and Senior Home Revitalization are two of the events being held during Menifee Better Together Day set for April 23, 2016.
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley’s 14th annual St. Patrick’s Day Golf Classic on March 17 at Temecula Creek Inn is fast approaching and player spots, foursomes and sponsorship opportunities are disappearing quickly.The fun starts at 8 a.m. Friday, March 17 at Temecula Creek Inn with breakfast served to all golfers. Contests will also begin and an expected 220 golfers will head out to all three courses at Temecula Creek Inn.
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley will once again spread holiday joy throughout the community with its 10th annual Christmas Tree Lane at the Promenade in Temecula mall. The fundraiser opened Nov. 5 and features 20 exquisitely-designed Christmas trees with themes such as the Super Hero Tree, The Giving Tree (packed with gift cards and cash), and the Moana Tree. There are 17 more beautiful trees — all of which will be given away to winning ticket holders on Dec. 12 at a drawing ceremony at the mall.
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley — along with City, County and government officials — broke ground Wednesday, July 6 on a lot that will eventually become “home” to two deserving families in Perris.
Construction is scheduled to begin on the two, single-family homes this fall with completion anticipated in spring of 2017. The 1,100 square foot houses will each have three bedrooms and two bathrooms and attached, two-car garages.
This June, microbreweries, craft beer makers and brew pubs from throughout Southern California and beyond descend on Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula for one special afternoon. The 8th Annual Pechanga Microbrew Festival and Chili Cook-off happens Saturday, June 11 from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. inside the Pechanga Grand Ballroom.
